Edge Of Your Seat - Class Registration
Registration Info:Register by phone, in-person, or fill out the online registration form. Class fees are payable by cash (in-person only), Visa, Mastercard, or American Express.

To hold your spot, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit. Full payment is due on or before the first class.
Once registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail.
Unless otherwise noted in the class descriptions, all tools are available for use during classes, and all materials are included.
Edge Of Your Seat requires at least 48 hours notice of your cancellation before the first day of class to transfer your deposit over to another class. Students who cancel less than 48 hours before the first class or do not show up for class will forfeit their class deposit.

Learn each step of weaving the octagonal cane pattern for a chair seat in this six-session class. We'll cover topics such as determining the correct size cane to use, how to tie-up ends, how to tackle diagonals and determine which holes to weave through, as well as how to finish off with a fabulous looking border. Any staining, finishing, or painting of the chair frame must be done prior to the class. Chairs must also be sturdy, and cannot have any loose joints or broken sections where the holes are located. All chairs must be assessed at least one week prior to the first day of class to determine material size requirements, and level of difficulty - you can e-mail a photo of your chair, or, bring your chair to the studio to have it assessed in person.
Our goal is to provide you with helpful one-on-one guidance so that you can complete your caning project from beginning to end.
Afterward, take your project home and enjoy your newly woven seat, or tackle some more hand caning projects around the house!
